The Concert For Bangladesh was the first benefit concert of its kind, bringing together an extraordinary assemblage of major artists George Harrison, Ravi Shankar, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell, and Billy Preston. The concert sold out Madison Square Garden, and along with the Grammy-winning triple-LP boxed set and the feature film, has generated millions for UNICEF and raised awareness for the organization around the world. All artist royalties from the sale of the DVD will also go to UNICEF. This two-DVD set contains the original 99-minute film, restored and remixed in 5.1 Surround. It also features 72 minutes of extras, including the documentary The Concert For Bangladesh Revisited 2005 With George Harrison And Friends, previously unseen performances, and a photo gallery.
